Would U obey things that been told to U without questioning the reasons?
Would U do something unresonable just because, that what Ur superior told U to?
Would U sacrifice anything just because some say, that what best U can do?
Between the mix scene, fairy tales and cruel reality, the movie just want to give us this words of wisdom. The two main chara ( the protogonist and the antagonist) face the same issue. The antagonist would obey things without questioning. But the protogonist wouldnt.
I want to compare it first with other stories:
First
Maybe U already read the myth of pandora’s box. She was been trusted with a sealed box, with caution ” do not open it:” but without the reason why.
So from my opinion its not her foult when she finally open it. The foult is on the one who give it to her without make it reasonable.
Second
Or maybe U read about japanese folktale, the story about a fishermen whose been invited to a banguet held by the queen of the sea, and as the farewell gift she gave him a box with caution ”do not open it” and again without the reason why. Of course out of curiousity he later open it, and sudenly he become old and weak ( turn out that the banguet held for years).
On this two story, it has the same meaning, the same tagline
”Obey..dont questioning things!”
So which one do U agree?
Obey, without questioning?
Or questioning first, before U agreed to obey?
Yes, the second maybe hard. We might end up hurting, bleeding or even dying while trying to find the answers. But this wouldnt called a human’s life if on the process we just has to obey things like robot does (even an animal need reasons to obey their master-of course the reason is simply food).
And this is what the movie is about…..
Our life too short to live in regret.
Our heart, our mind n our soul would always longing for reasons….
Film yg aneh, gak tau pantesnya digenrein buat siapa, soalnya meskipun tokoh utamanya anak2,tapi film ini terlalu sadis n berat ceritanya. Untuk remaja juga susah,krn biasanya umur segitu lebih tertarik dgn film2 roman picisan ;p. Unutk dewasa? Waduh kayaknya males deh, udah capek setiap hari mengahdapi stress yg menumpuk eh disuruh nonton film ”berat”. So buat siapa ya? ^_^
